How Smart DNS works?
Our Smart DNS detects whether the user is located in Hong Kong or China, and choose the best route for sending or receiving email.
If the user is located in Mainland China:
The Smart DNS system will firstly direct the connection to a proxy server in China, then go through an encrypted private connection (VPN) before finally reaching our Hong Kong email server. This will effectively avoid being blocked by the China Great Firewall.
If the user is located in Hong Kong or other locations:
The Smart DNS system will direct the connection to our Hong Kong email server just as usual.
